Inspired by Dario Argento’s 1975 Italian giallo horror film ‘Deep Red,’ the client didn’t want your typical wine shop branding. We focused on a custom letter type for the brand’s wordmark (inspired by the film’s opening credits) and a simple color field symbol abstraction. We created icons, responsive logos, and custom patterns to extend the brand language and experiment with how it should be applied to the physical and digital space.
